Department of Agriculture - Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Special Area for Agricultural Development Program Phase II
The BFAR-SAAD Program Phase II is a locally funded project that provides fisheries related interventions (capture, aquaculture, post-harvest) prioritizing the poorest and most remote areas of the country that have not received support from the BFAR regular programs. SAAD Phase II is developmental in nature and envisions to uplift its beneficiaries above the poverty line by providing them access to economic opportunities thus, improving their fisheries activities and further transforming them into successful community-based enterprises (CBEs)
